来源:www.cnwinenews.com  2024-03-29 10:23 作者:

Unsurprisingly, baijiu is one of the most popular alcohols on the planet – given the size of China and its population – but which ones are, according to Wine-Searcher's database, the most sought after?

The World's Most Wanted Baijiu on Wine-Searcher:

Kweichow Moutai 30 Year Old Baijiu                               N/A                      $6698

Luzhou Laojiao 'Bainian' Baijiu                                       N/A                    $62

In first place, is the Luzhou Laojiao Guo Jiao - National Cellar 1573 Baijiu.   It is currently, according to Wine-Searcher statistics, the 65th most sought-after alcoholic drink in the world.   Luzhou LaoJiao distillery is located in the southern Sichuan province of China in the city of Luzhou, also known as the city of spirits.

In second place is a baijiu from Kweichow Moutai Co Ltd, a large partly state-owned distillery in the town of Moutai, in the Guizhou province.   The distillery is now the world's most valuable alcoholic drinks company.

Their baijiu has won plenty of awards and has been described by the Ultimate Beverage Challenge as being "delightfully fruity and exotic with pungent papaya, biscuit dough, hibiscus, and saffron". A treat indeed, except it will cost $703 to sample it.

In third place is another spirit from Kweichow Moutai, this time their White Skin Baijiu. This incredibly rare spirit was only produced in the years of 1997, 1998 and 1999 making it one of the rarest spirits in the world. There is only one offer for it currently listed on Wine-Searcher and, as may be expected for such a rarity, it's not cheap, coming in at an average of $1503.
