The first Ningxia "Ningxia Helan Mountain East Foot Wine Consumption Festival" was held in Yinchuan. The event runs from January 16 to 27 and is not closed during the Spring Festival.

Nearly 20 wineries at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in Ningxia have organized hundreds of wines for consumers to choose from. These include wines that have won awards in various international and national competitions in recent years.

The annual Spring Festival is the peak season for wine sales, and this event will further promote local consumption in Ningxia, as well as improve the knowledge of Ningxia locals about wine.

Since 2022, Ningxia has vigorously carried out consumption promotion activities to build a consumption platform and accelerate the recovery of consumption. The total retail sales of consumer goods in the year reached 133.844 billion yuan, up 0.2% year on year, ranking ninth in China. At present, Ningxia has decided to carry out a series of activities in 2023 to boost consumer confidence, release consumption potential and promote consumption upgrade.
