On June 28, the "2021 National Wine and Fruit Wine Industry Annual Conference" hosted by China Food Industry Association was held in Qingdao, Shandong. Wine experts, winemakers, technicians, and journalists from the wine and fruit wine industry from all over the country gathered together to discuss in-depth development status, opportunities and challenges of the wine and fruit wine industry.

In the past two years, the wine industry has experienced a period of in-depth adjustment, coupled with the impact of the Covid-19, which has put many wine companies under great pressure.

According to market data released by the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2020, there will be a total of 130 wine companies above designated size, with a total wine production of 413,300 kiloliters, a year-on-year decrease of 6%; with sales revenue of 10.021 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 29.82%; The total profit achieved was 259 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 74.48%.

In face of the collective decline in production, sales revenue and total profits, how to help wine companies get out of trouble and help the industry develop has also become the main topic of this conference.
