Annual Saratoga Wine and Food festival kicks off

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. -- The annual Saratoga Wine and Food Festival kicks off in the Spa City. It's a chance for locals to get a taste of wines from all over the world.

The grand tasting features about 100 wineries and importers, but the highlight of the event is a charity auction benefiting the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

 
Items up for bid include a Girls Night Out, a toy-store shopping spree, tickets to SPAC shows and a custom-built wine cellar with an estimated value of $15,000.

The event continues Sunday.
